Our Story
“Mi Cafesito… It’s more than a coffee trailer. It’s our family story.”
We’re Sam and Rosario — not only partners in business but also in life, raising kids, building a business, and chasing a dream together.
Mi Cafesito started back in 2021… right in the middle of COVID. No trailer. No fancy menu. Just us, a couple of coffee lovers with a table, some drip coffee, some pan dulce, and a whole lot of faith. We started small — construction sites at sunrise, little community events, experimenting in our kitchen, trying to perfect every drink, every bolillo, every detail.
Piece by piece, the dream grew.
And in 2024, we finally got our trailer — and hit the streets of Phoenix. Now you’ll find us serving at Mayo Clinic on Thursdays, and Friday mornings… putting smiles on faces before the sun even comes up.
You’ll also see us Saturday mornings at Phoenix Christian High with CCV Stars , cheering on the kids and serving the families and the public. And of course, we do private events — bringing great coffee and good vibes wherever you invite us. But here’s the truth…
We didn’t start Mi Cafesito just to sell coffee.
We started it because we believe coffee brings people together.
Before a big business deal… you meet over coffee.
Before you make a new friendship… you connect over coffee.
Before a first date… you break the ice over coffee.
Before buying your first home… you meet your realtor over coffee.
Even before Bible study… you gather with your people at a table with a cafesito in hand.
Coffee is where dreams start — and we wanted to create a place where people feel that. Even without a brick-and-mortar yet, we still live and operate by our core values:
Serve great product. Give world-class customer service. Make people feel seen, valued, and uplifted. Mi Cafesito is a family business.
Built by us, supported by our kids, operated with the help of family staff, and fueled by our Mi Cafesito community that keeps showing up. One day soon, we’ll open the doors to our brick-and-mortar.
A place where people can start their dreams, build relationships, create memories, and feel at home. But until then… we’re right here — on the streets, at events, serving Phoenix one cup, one bolillo, one smile at a time. This is Mi Cafesito. Where family, community, and great coffee all come together.”
